Ordering Procedures and Policies

We don't take online orders for Easy English NEWS. Print out the Easy English News (US) order form fill it out and mail or fax it in with your payment or authorized purchase order.

Payment

ONLINE ORDERS: You can order and pay for books, cds and teacher's resources online at this website. Easy English NEWS is not available for online ordering as yet.  We accept VISA and MasterCard for purchases at this website. Credit card orders will be processed through our secure website. Please note, to avoid error messages: Your billing address must match the address your credit card is issued to.  Your mailing address can be different, but should be complete. Be sure to print out your receipt.

Are you ordering for a school, library, bookstore or other Institution in the U.S.?

Print out the order form and mail it along with your payment (check, Money Order, or Visa/Mastercard information) to the address below.

FAX-IN ORDERS:

Print out the order form, then Fax it with your Credit card information or authorized purchase order to our secure Fax: 757-430-4309.

IMPORTANT: Checks and money orders for books should be payable to Elizabeth Claire, Inc.

Checks and money orders for newspaper subscriptions should be payable to Easy English NEWS.

There is no additional shipping charge for mailing you the newspaper.

Terms: 30 days from the invoice date.

Shipping charges and any required state sales tax will be added to your invoice.

All non-U.S. orders must be paid for in U.S. funds at the time of your order.

New Jersey residents will be charged 7% sales tax.

If you are ordering from a tax-exempt organization, please provide your tax exemption number.

International Orders

We send packages overseas by Airmail. The cost of shipping your books will depend on your country zone and the weight of your package.

For the cost, please email  us the titles and quantities of books you are ordering and your country. We will weigh the books and the package and calculate your postage. CLICK HERE to go to our Contact Us page to email us.

International orders must be prepaid by a credit card, money order or a check drawn on a U.S. Bank for U.S. Dollars.

PLEASE NOTE: Many countries charge duties and/or fees (some fees may include brokerage fees) for incoming merchandise. Elizabeth Claire, Inc., advises you to be aware of these charges before you order. We will not accept returns from packages that are refused because of the costs of customs brokers and import taxes in your country. (Canada, this may mean you, as well as others).

Back Orders

Sometimes popular items may be out of stock. We will ship the items we have in stock and the other items in a second package, with no additional shipping costs to you. We'll let you know the approximate wait time, so if you prefern not to wait, we can refund that portion of your money.

Shipping

When Ordering Books, the following shipping advice applies.

Shipping and Handling Charges

Shipping and handling charges in the continental US (excluding Alaska and Hawaii) for UPS ground or priority mail are listed below:

Method of Shipment

Your order will be shipped within 72 hours of the day we receive it, provided the items are in stock. We ship most orders by UPS or Priority Mail unless you have special instructions.

Delivery time for materials is 3–10 business days depending on your location.  Orders shipped to Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico can be shipped Priority Mail, Second Day Air, or Next Day Air, but cannot be shipped by UPS.

When you receive your order, please check to see that the package contains everything you ordered, and has arrived in good condition. Notify us as soon as possible if this is not the case.

Free sample copies are available for Easy English NEWS in the U.S.  Print out the Easy English NEWS order form, fill it in with your information, and check the box that says send samples. We can send samples for all the teachers at your school, if desired.

Examination Copies of books

Examination copies of books for schools or institutions must be ordered on official stationery by Fax or Mail. We'll ship them with an invoice due in 30 days. The books may be purchased or returned at the end of that time. The return shipping charges are your responsibility.

If you wish to return the materials, please enclose a copy of the invoice or packing slip and your account will be credited upon receipt, or your money refunded. (If you've lost the invoice, a note to us will do, just put in all the details we'll need to refund your money.)

Returns

Elizabeth Claire, Inc. guarantees all items sold to teachers and students at this website and will accept returns up to one year, in any condition, of material that does not work with your students. We don't want to keep your money if our materials don't work for you.

Defective audio CDs may be exchanged for replacements.

Returns of books from bookstores should be in saleable condition, within 365 days of original invoice date.

We recommend that if you need to return materials, send them by UPS so they can be tracked and provide proof of delivery to us.

Your shipping costs will not be included in the credit or refund.
